WELCOME TO ST. CLARE OF ASSISI PARISH

We are a Community of Faith in Action

Whether you are new to our parish, a current parishioner, a Catholic from another parish thinking about joining us, curious about becoming a Catholic, or just interested in learning more about the Catholic faith, we welcome you to St. Clare! It is our hope that you will find our parish a place of hospitality as well as a spiritual home for you and your family.

Thank you for taking the time to "Come and See" what our parish has to offer and using this opportunity to discern how you and your family can get involved as fully active participating members.  We are a large parish but we strive to create small community environments. God has been enriching many lives through our worship, charitable works, Catholic formation programs for children and adults, and social activities. We offer opportunities for people of all ages to grow spiritually and to find friendships that support our faith live - our faith in action.

We are committed to stewardship. In other words, we are committed to receiving God's gifts gratefully, cultivating those gifts responsible, sharing those gifts lovingly, and returning those gifts with increase to the Lord. Everything we receive is a gift from God, so we strive to discern how our life can exemplify that of a generous give of time, talent and treasure - our faith in action.

We live our stewardship by praying, serving and giving. As you become more acquainted with us, I hope you will find an area in which to share your time and talent with our parish family. Like my family, we function most efficiently when all our members involve themselves in parish life. In serving one another, we are serving Christ, so we invite you to discern your gifts and talents. There is a parish ministry for all of us and ways for each of us to share the mission of Christ. We just need to discover where we would like to serve the Lord.

I hope you will join us by actively participating, and by sharing your prayers, your talents and your financial support, all for the glory of God and the good of His people. I offer my gratitude for all that you do for God. I hope you make many friends in our parish community. Come grow with us in the love of the Lord!

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Fr. Hans Ruygt, Pastor
