Communion Visitors to Homes, Del Webb Hospital and Prisons

Bringing the Presence of Christ and Our Parish to Those Who Cannot Come to Us

This ministry is made up of Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion from St. Clare of Assisi and Our Lady of Lourdes Parishes. We take Holy Communion daily to sick patients in private homes, group homes, assisted living, independent living, rehab centers, memory care facilities, hospice, nursing homes, prisons and Banner Del Webb Hospital.

We have a deep reverence for the Blessed Sacrament and use reverent care when handling the Holy Eucharist. We participate in the life of the parish through visitation of families and the sick, both in their homes and in hospitals and through collaboration in every apostolic and missionary undertaking sponsored by the parish. We will provide you with the proper training to lead the Sacred Liturgy for visiting those in need.

We welcome those who have a desire to become a Communion Visitor.
